Blue Eye Seafood Restaurant

Blue Eye Seafood Restaurant is located in the heart of Salamanca Place, under one of the historic grain silos.  Blue Eye is open for lunch on Tuesday to Saturday, and for dinner Monday to Saturday.  We are closed on Sunday.  Kids eat for $1 before 7:30 pm (see below).

Fresh Local Seafood

We have something for all seafood lovers. Try some local Bruny Island oysters or Spring Bay mussels to start, followed by char-grilled fish, a seafood curry, risotto or real-ale battered fish and chips. We specialise in hot and cold seafood platters which are great for sharing.  Our dishes change regularly depending what fish is available - click here for details of our latest menus.

For the non-fish eater we also char-grill steaks to order as well as having other delicious non-seafood dishes on the menu including vegetarian and gluten free dishes. Take away food is also available - see our take-away menu for details.

Relaxed casual dining

Our table dining service is professional without being too formal. We are kid-friendly and welcome larger group bookings.

Kids eat for $1 before 7:30 pm.  Your kids can have fish and chips from the children's menu after 5 pm for $1 if you leave the restaurant by 7:30 pm.  This deal does not include drinks or dessert.  One adult must purchase a main meal for two children to eat for $1. 

Tasmanian Wine and Beers

We have a great range of quality Tasmanian wine and beers, including Two Metre Tall Ale and Moo Brew on tap. We are fully licensed but welcome BYO (bottled wine only).
